Synutra Announces Manufacturing License Renewal

Synutra International, Inc.

today announced that it has renewed its manufacturing license for its primary production facility with the Shandong Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. The Company is the first domestic infant formula producer to complete the mandatory re-certification process in China. As per the regulation, industry participants, including all infant milk formula and dairy product companies, were to resubmit applications by the end of the year 2010, and cease production in the event of failure to obtain the renewal permit prior to March, 2011.
