AvalonBay Communities Reports Q4 EPS of $.31 vs. $.28

AvalonBay Communities, Inc. AVB reported today that Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 was $27,030,000. This resulted in Earnings per Share – diluted of $0.31 for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, compared to EPS of $0.40 for the comparable period of 2009, a decrease of 22.5%. For the year ended December 31, 2010, EPS was $2.07 compared to $1.93 for the year ended December 31, 2009, a per share increase of 7.3%.
