Bankrate Says Credit Card Segment Sets All Time Record High

Shares of Bankrate Inc RATE are flat after hours following the company's Q2 earnings report. The personal finance aggregator reported Q2 adjusted EPS $0.11 which was inline with consensus estimates. Sales were $98.3 million versus expectations of $96.08 million. Credit Card revenues grew to $69.7 million.

President, and CEO Kenneth Esterow said ""In our Credit Cards segment we accomplished much of what we set out to do in the second quarter of 2016, setting an all-time record for Credit Card segment revenue and scaling our card marketing. However, even though Bankrate, Inc.'s revenue and Adjusted EBITDA exceeded the top end of our second quarter 2016 guidance, we are not satisfied, particularly with our Banking segment results"

Shares of Jamba Inc closed Thursday's regular session down $0.11or 1.42 percent to $7.63.
