BD to Acquire Accuri Cytometers

BD BDX announced today that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Accuri Cytometers, Inc., an Ann Arbor, Michigan-based company that develops and manufactures personal flow cytometers for researchers. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close during the third quarter of fiscal year 2011. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
