Red Robin Gets Innovative With Latest Menu Changes

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. RRGB latest limited release will have you on Google Maps looking for the burger chains closest location.

The chain is serving up a several new items this fall, including some that we haven't seen at fast food locations until now, a Chicken and Waffles Burger.

"Comfort food is a staple of the fall season," said Jonathan Muhtar, senior VP and CMO at Red Robin.

This innovative menu change that runs until November 6 is hoping to provide a much needed spark for the chain. Red Robin posted lower than estimated EPS figures in Q2 despite its restaurant revenues increasing 5 percent year over year.

Canaccord has a Hold rating with a $53 price target on the company.

The stock is down nearly 20 percent in 2016.
