By 10:30 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1.78 points, or 0.01%, to 12,231.37, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had lost 2.32 points, or 0.18%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 2.46 points, or 0.09%.
Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Broad-Based Semiconductor Stocks, which have gained 4.2%, E-Commerce Software Stocks, up 2.5%, and Exchange Stocks, moving 1.8% higher as a group.
In Tickerspy's Broad-Based Semiconductor complex, Atmel Corporation ATML had surged 10.8%. ATML reported better-than-expected Q4 results.
The best performing Tickerspy E-Commerce Software stock has been Web.com Group Inc WWWW, which was up 22.9%. WWWW reported 87% y/y jump in its Q4 adjusted EBITDA.
NYSE Euronext NYX is today's leading Tickerspy's Exchange stock, gaining 3.3%. Analysts at BMO Capital upgraded NYX from “market perform” to “outperform.”
