Federal Reserve Board Governor Kevin Warsh just announced that he is going to resign from the Federal Reserve next month, effective March 31.
Warsh is a former economic adviser to President George W. Bush, and he joined the Fed in 2006. Warsh is one of the more hawkish members of the Fed, and was skeptical of QE2, although he did not vote against it.
Warsh worked previously at Morgan Stanley MS.
