FireEye Soars On Top & Bottom Line Beat

  • FireEye Inc FEYE reports a Q3 net loss of $(0.18) per share, beating the Street’s consensus by $0.13 per share.
  • Revenue of $186.4 million, up 12.5 percent year-over-year, also comes in $3.75 million ahead of expectations.
  • Management guided for Q4 revenue of $187 million to $193 million, below consensus of $195 million.
  • EPS are expected in the $(0.18) to $(0.16) range, above expectations for $(0.20). For the full year, management envisions revenue of $716 million to $722 million, versus estimates of $721 million. EPS outlook of $(1.16)-$(1.14) is better than the expected $(1.30).
  • Shares are trading up 13.3 percent in Thursday’s after-hours session.
