President-elect Donald Trump held a tech summit at the Trump Towers in New York on Wednesday. It was a meeting of the biggest tech leaders in the country to “begin a conversation and partnership in order to spark innovation and create more jobs in the U.S.”

Throughout the summit, Trump discussed a range of issues that impact both American workers and companies. According to Trump’s website greatagain.gov, the industry leaders in attendance were encouraged by the president-elect's open mind and willingness to listen.

"This is truly an amazing group of people," said the President-elect to kick off a meeting with Silicon Valley's top leaders. Trump said he was there to help lead the future of innovation.

Absent from the meeting was Twitter IncTWTR,  Donald Trump’s favorite social media platform, because it was ‘too small’ according to sources. The transition team’s official reasoning was that “the conference table was only so big.”

The newlly elected President was accompanied by several members of his cabinet, including Paul Ryan, Steve Bannon and Peter Thiel.

Jeff Bezos said the meeting was “very productive” and indicated that the incoming administration emphasized that innovation was key in creating new jobs.

At last check, Technology SPDR (ETF) XLK was up 0.37 percent on Thursday, trading at $49.12.
