Banking stocks are experiencing more pressure on Thursday in what is beginning to become a trend for the sector. The S&P is down marginally once again, but some widely held banking stocks are significantly underperforming that benchmark.
In particular, Bank of America BAC is a laggard. That stock has fallen around 2% to $13.89. Citigroup C has shed 1.06% and is trading at $4.65, its lowest level in a couple of months.
J.P. Morgan JPM shares have lost 0.76% to $45.61 and Wells Fargo WFC is down around 0.60% to $31.30.
