Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. MLNX shares are trading lower by $3.85 (8.5 percent) at $42.95 in Thursday's session.
The catalyst for the decline is a Q4 EPS miss of $0.04 along with $3.4 million shortfall for revenues. The company also lowered Q1 sales guidance to the $200-$210 million range from estimates of $225.9 million.
After a much lower open, it immediately bottomed at $40.70 and began to rebound. That low coincides with its January 3 low of $41.10. The furious rally took the issue all the way to $45.25, which was still shy of the lower-end of Wednesday's range which comes in at $46.60.
