Fast Money Pops & Drops, March 3rd (VLO, CVH, BTU, GPS, ORCL)

On CNBC's Fast Money, Guy Adami said that Valero Energy Corporation VLO posted a great quarter. He added that it seems that this stock is breaking out, but in order to do that it will have to jump above $30.50. He believes that Valero Energy Corporation (VLO) will manage to move above $30.50. VLO gained 7.73% today, and it closed at $28.98. Coventry Health Care, Inc. CVH spiked 5.66% today, and Carter Worth thinks that the key is in the strength of the whole group. He said that this sector looks strong, and you should stay long. Peabody Energy Corporation BTU gained 5.11% today, and Joe Terranova said that he likes this stock. He explained that the situation with oil will make clean coal technology more important, and nobody does that better than Peabody Energy Corporation (BTU). The Gap Inc. GPS fell 1.94% today, and it closed at $21.78. Karen Finerman said that she would stay away from this stock. Oracle Corporation ORCL was upgraded today, said Tim Seymour, and added that this software company is adding value internationally. He believes that it is going higher. Oracle Corporation (ORCL) gained 2.83% today, and it closed at $33.03.
