TurboTax today announced a new app designed and optimized specifically for mobile users of the iPad. TurboTax for the iPad combines the unparalleled ease and accuracy of TurboTax with the convenience and portability of the Apple AAPL iPad.

One of the first iPad apps from Intuit Inc. INTU, it is the first and only mobile app that lets taxpayers prepare and e-file both their federal and state taxes completely from their iPad.
