Oppenheimer & Co. is out with a research report on Microsoft MSFT. It has an Outperform rating and a $25 price target.
In a note to clients, Oppenheimer writes, "Yesterday, MSFT announced demand for Kinect Xbox 360 remained healthy in 2011. The company disclosed it has sold over 10 million Kinect sensors since the product's launch in November 2010. MSFT also highlighted that the Guinness World Records has named Kinect 360 the fastest-selling consumer electronics device ever (based on the company's 8 million units sold in its first 60 days of release). Looking forward, we expect adoption of Kinect to remain solid as the company introduces new games and services tailored for the device."
Shares of MSFT lost 2 cents yesterday to close at $25.89.
