In a report published by Brean Murray Carret & Co, American States Water Company's AWR rating is upgraded to Buy and a price target of $39 is established.
Brean Murray Carret & Co said that operating revenue increased 23.1 percent in the quarter to $103.7 million, as revenue increased in each of the segments. “AWR's 4Q10 results were impacted by a few one-time items. Removing the effects of these items, earnings from continuing ops would have been $0.37, below our forecasts and consensus.”
American States Water Company closed yesterday at $32.93.
