J.P. Morgan Updates Earthquake Losses For Allied World (AWH)

J.P. Morgan has reported on the estimated loss for Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd. AWH from the February 21 earthquake.

According to J.P. Morgan, “On Monday March 7, 2011, Allied World (AWH: N) provided its initial net loss estimate for the Christchurch, New Zealand earthquake on February 21 in the range of $30-$40 million. As a result, we are lowering our 1Q and full year 2011operating EPS estimate by $0.92 and $0.96 to $0.28 and $4.94, respectively.”

Allied World closed at 62.96 on Friday. Allied World has a Neutral Rating and a $62.00 PT.
