Maryam Banikarim named Gannett's Chief Marketing Officer

Maryam Banikarim has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Gannett Co., Inc.GCI, a newly created position, Gracia C. Martore, president and chief operating officer announced today. Banikarim will be responsible for all companywide marketing, communications and research efforts. She will also be a member of the Gannett Management Committee.
