Automakers Off Their Lows (TM, F, GM)

The automakers are off their lows, with Ford F even being positive this morning, despite palladium plunging 6% on concerns over its usage in catalytic converters.

Shares of Toyota Motors TM are off $2.2 to $79.51, a loss of 2.7%, but had been down as much as 5% this morning. 2.3 million shares have already been traded today.

Shares of Ford are up 8 cents to $14.38, a gain of 0.6% on 26.5 million shares this morning.

General Motors GM just turned positive, up 2 cents to $31.61, on 6.7 million shares.
