Needless to say, many car enthusiasts and investors were left wanting to see much more. Thankfully, Tesla's new affordable sedan is popping up all over Silicon Valley and attentive journalists and ordinary people are more than eager to share their pictures and opinions.
Teslarati
Teslarati, a news source for all things Tesla related, published a few photos of the Model 3 sedan driving around Palo Alto, California. The pictures were submitted by one of the publication's readers named Wayne.
Teslarati commented on the photos, noting that the Model 3 is similar to the one seen in Musk's tweet last month. Also evident from the pictures are Tesla's full suite of "hardware 2" sensors, which suggests self-driving capabilities will be a reality in the future.
What is "most striking" is the inclusion of two new sensors that are rear-quarter facing. These were interpreted to be new autopilot cameras and could bring the total number of cameras from eight to 10.
