Oppenheimer has reported on Netflix NFLX successfully acquiring the rights to "House Of Cards" over HBO and AMC.
According to Oppenheimer, "Per Deadline Hollywood, Netflix successfully outbid HBO and AMC for the rights to House Of Cards, an adaptation of the successful 1990 British miniseries. Netflix reportedly paid $100M up front to get rights to the original show and ordered two seasons for a total of 26 episodes (nearly $4 million per episode)."
Netflix closed at $213.84 yesterday.
