Jefferies has issued a report detailing expectations for the effect of the new mercury regulations on the Albemarle ALB.
According to Jefferies, "We estimate that new mercury removal regulations in the U.S. should support an incremental 2-4% increase in annual global bromine demand by 2015, which should help sustain the bromine pricing cycle. With Albemarle shares down 8% since March 4 on electronics and Japan (<5% of sales) concerns, we reiterate our Buy rating."
Albemarle has a Buy Rating and a $75 PT.
Albemarle closed at $53.84 yesterday.
