ETF Securities, the ETF issuer behind a suite of precious metals ETFs, said today that its U.S.-listed ETFs have surpassed $4 billion in assets under management as of March 9. ETF Securities lists seven ETFs on the New York Exchange. Those funds are as follows: ETFS Physical Swiss Gold Shares SGOL, ETFS Physical Silver Shares SIVR, ETFS Physical Platinum Shares PPLT, ETFS Physical Palladium Shares PALL, ETFS Physical Precious Metals Basket Shares GLTR, ETFS Physical White Metal Basket Shares WITE and ETFS Asian Gold Shares AGOL. The ascent of ETF Securities has been impressive to say the least as the company's AUM haul rested at $2.5 billion as of early November. Both SGOL and PALL have over $1 billion in AUM each, according to the company. "We've seen good levels of interest from investors for our diversified metals baskets; GLTR and WITE and demand for gold vaulted in Switzerland (SGOL) and Asia (AGOL)," William Rhind, Head of Sales & Marketing for ETFS Marketing LLC, said in a statement. Last month, ETF Securities filed plans to introduce the ETFS Physical IM Basket ETF, which will track the following industrial metals: Aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, tin and zinc.
