Cintas CTAS is set to report earnings tonight, and Wall Street's eyes and ears will be looking and listening for signs of rising inflation, and how the company is dealing with it.
The company, based in Ohio, is the world's largest maker of uniforms. Analysts are looking for earnings of 36 cents per share, on revenues of $907.56 million. This is up from last year, when the company reported third quarter earnings of 32 cents per share on revenues of $861.81 million.
Analysts will be paying special attention to guidance, as input costs, namely cotton, have been rising in recent months. Investors will look to see how the company plans to attack this issue.
The company trades at at 15.4 2011 earnings, and has a dividend yield of 1.6%.
At last check, shares were up 14 cents to $28.22, a gain of 0.5%.
