AIG CEO Says Fed Has Not Responded To Offer To Buy MBS (AIG)

AIG AIG CEO on CNBC is saying that the Fed has not responded to its offer to buy its Mortgage-Backed Securities portfolio. Taxpayers still own 92% of AIG. Menmosche, AIG's CEO, says that the company has built up a large cash position ahead of this transaction, costing the company in earnings.
