Manitex International Increases Distribution in Western Canada

Manitex International, Inc. MNTX today announced that it is expanding its distribution agreement with Cropac Equipment Inc., a premier mobile crane dealer serving customers throughout North America since 1977, and a key Manitex distributor since 1988, to include Alberta and Saskatchewan provinces in Canada. Cropac Equipment Inc. has recently opened its latest branch in Nisku, Alberta, to strengthen its presence in a growth region in Canada. With, an expansive client base and a particularly strong presence in the energy sector, Cropac has evolved into one of North America's largest stocking Manitex dealers for its entire line of boom trucks, and now will represent Manitex from the east coast of Canada to Alberta. Cropac has already entered orders, targeted to this region, in excess of $2.2 million, which were included in an earlier contract announcement from Manitex, in the first quarter of 2011.
