Wind power is a high-growth industry with a glowing future. Investors can expect to find many jewels. Some companies are already well recognized, but others, such as XZERES Wind Corp XWND, a designer, developer and producer of distributed generation, wind power systems for the small wind market (2.5kW-100kW), are just embarking on a path that could see exceptional rates of expansion and the chance of great rewards for investors.

America has become one of the world's fastest-growing wind energy markets.

US wind power generating capacity surged 45% in 2007, with the installation of 5,244MW, according to the American Wind Energy Association. This accounted for nearly a third of the country's entire new power-producing capacity added during the year. It has established wind power as one of the largest sources of new electricity supply in the US, and makes America one of the fastest-growing wind energy markets in the world.

Outside of the US marketplace, XZERES has already made inroads into the UK, which is one of the most lucrative and fastest growing markets in Europe. XZERES' European Subsidiary, XZERES Wind Europe Ltd., recently announced its first European order (5 units) and the completion of its CE Mark, a critical certification for the European market.

In addition to the recent European order and CE Mark, XZERES today announced Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approval for its 442SR 10kW small wind power system. This is a significant accomplishment for XZERES as its system now has achieved certification to the EN45011 standard, which complies with the UK Government eligibility requirement allowing XZERES' UK customers who purchase their systems to access one of the highest Feed-in-Tariff incentives and wind resources in all of Europe. This not only provides a significant offset of expensive purchased power for the end user, but also provides an additional incentive payment from as little as $5,000 to as much as $12,000 annually for a single system.

XZERES is now one of only six small wind manufacturer's globally to achieve attainment of the MCS designation in the UK.

The MCS Certification, along with their recently achieved CE Mark, will allow XZERES to fully take advantage of the very lucrative UK market.

As XZERES continues to gain momentum, and as its European Subsidiary starts to take advantage of the many lucrative markets that exist throughout the UK and the rest of Europe, the Company and its shareholders stand to benefit as XZERES becomes a major global player in the small wind power industry.
