Court: Apple didn't violate any of Nokia's patents

Reuters is reporting today that the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) has sided with Apple in a lawsuit filed by Nokia last year. The ITC states that Apple did not violate any of the five patents that were cited in Nokia's lawsuit.

Apple Inc (AAPL.O) won a round in its patent battle with Nokia (NOK1V.HE) on Friday as a U.S. trade panel ruled that the U.S. company did not violate any of five Nokia patents.

The patents were for electronic devices, including mobile phones, portable music players and computers.

As far as Apple's counter-lawsuit filed against Nokia claiming patent infringement, the court seems to have sided with Nokia. However, no official ruling has been announced at this time.
