iPhone 5 May Miss Fiscal 2011: Apple Insider (AAPL)

According to AppleInsider, the fifth version of the Apple AAPL iPhone may miss fiscal 2011, as the company has not started to order components for its phone. The website is reporting that it may choose to release the phone in October, which would be the 2012 fiscal year for the company, and just in time for the holiday shopping season. Also in the article are rumors of a potential aluminum back for the iPhone 5, which would replace the glass back on the iPhone 4. Apple has supposedly built several models of the iPhone 5. One of them has a sliding cover which has a physical keyboard, the other has longer battery life and a better camera, but the same iPhone design. Shares of Apple are up $1.10 to $352.64, a gain of 0.3%.
