Ian Gilyeat Announces Independent Candidacy for United States Senate

GILBERT, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Ian Gilyeat (www.electiangilyeat.com) announced today that he is running as an independent candidate for the United States Senate representing the people of Arizona. Gilyeat, a long-time resident of Gilbert, Ariz., enters the race on the position that limited government is the only way to protect property, life and individual freedoms.

Gilyeat believes recent decisions in Congress have moved the country toward nationalized healthcare, government bailouts and the takeover of large private companies; these decisions demonstrate that the federal government is encroaching on individual freedoms, personal responsibility and the free exercise of conscience.

“I am seeking office in order to limit government and their constant encroachment into every aspect of our personal and business affairs.
