bebe stores Announces Fiscal Third Quarter 2011 Sales

bebe stores BEBE today reported retail sales from continuing operations of $100.8 million for the third quarter ended April 2, 2011, a decrease of 0.5% compared to $101.3 million for the fiscal quarter ended April 3, 2010. Same store sales for the fiscal quarter ended April 2, 2011 decreased 0.7% compared to a decrease of 11.2% in the prior year. Retail sales from continuing operations for the year-to-date period ended April 2, 2011 were $337.5 million, a decrease of 0.4% compared to $338.9 million for the year-to-date period ended April 3, 2010. Comparable store sales for the year-to-date period ending April 2, 2011 decreased 1.8% compared to a decrease of 20.8% for the year-to-date period ending April 3, 2010.
