Gartner Says Windows Phone Will Surpass Apple, Blackberry By 2015 (MSFT, AAPL, RIMM)

A BoyGeniusReport article shows that Microsoft MSFT Windows phones will overtake the iOS operating system from Apple AAPL by 2015, and Research In Motions's RIMM platform by 2013, according to Gartner. According to Gartner's estimates, Nokia's NOK strong position around the world will drive Windows smartphone sales to 5.6% of the sector this year, and will be as high as 19.5% n 2015, edging past Apple's 17.2%. Shares of all the companies mentioned here are down today, but all are down roughly 1% or less, despite the market pullback.
