Healthways Awarded Contract to Expand National Chronic Disease (HWAY)

Ben R. Leedle, Jr., President and CEO of Healthways HWAY, today confirmed that the company has been selected by France's Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Maladie des Travailleurs Salariés to broadly expand services for CNAMTS' Sophia program to improve health and well being for all citizens with diabetes, in France and French Territories overseas. The 4-year contract awarded to Healthways, in partnership with French consulting firm Altran, was made following an extensive evaluation process which reviewed proposals from approximately 20 potential service providers including two global technology firms, a multinational health insurance firm, a multinational pharmacy benefits manager and the incumbent service supplier.
