Compass Minerals Announces Price Increases on Deicing Products Sold Through Its Consumer and Industrial Business Unit

North American Salt Company and Sifto Canada Corp., both subsidiaries of Compass Minerals CMP, have announced the following price increases on packaged and bulk deicing products for commercial, janitorial-sanitation and retail customers: $12 per short ton for rock salt products, $16 to $18 per short ton for value and premium blends, and $18 to $24 per short ton for magnesium chloride and calcium chloride products.
