The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Tuesday the voluntary recall of Bella Kitchen slow cookers sold exclusively at Kohl’s KSS.
About 25,000 units of the Bella Kitchen 5-quart programmable slow cookers, distributed by Canada’s Sensio Inc., will be recalled.
The federal commission, which received 60 reports of the crockpots’ control panels smoking, melting and sparking, as well as three reports of the panels catching fire, said consumers should immediately stop using the product.
