E-Books for Cheap OnSale told you about great deals on the e-books at Borders BGP and following the lead of online giant Amazon AMZN and Barnes and Noble BKS, Borders is starting September with discounted Kobo e-reader for $129.99. The Aluratek Libre eBook Pro is also getting a trim, going from $119.99 to $99. The company will soon start selling Velocity’s Android-based GOOG readers, the Cruz and the Cruz Tablet, will sell for $199 and $299 when they come to market. Right now the Cruz Reader is ready for pre-orders at Borders.com. DS Price Cut Nintendo is slashing to prices on its handheld gaming devices, the DSi and the DSi XL, in just a couple of weeks. And this can only mean one thing: Something new is on the way. That’s right – Nintendo is getting in on the 3D action with its new, aptly named “3DS,” due later this fall.
