Manta Network to Enable On-chain Private Identity in Arbitrum Ecosystem

Singapore, May 9, 2023 (500NewsWire) - Manta Network is proud to support Arbitrum to roll out a series of Private Soul Bound Tokens (zkSBTs) to provide private on-chain identity verification for Arbitrum users and its ecosystem. This offers users a decentralized, trustless, and private way to verify their real identities without compromising any information or data leakage about their on-chain activity. Through the new zkSBT offerings launching starting today on Manta Network's NPO, Arbitrum users will be able to privately verify various aspects of their on-chain identity without revealing any additional information. Throughout the week, users will have access to various zkSBTs designed for verification of Arbitrum ecosystem supporters and users:

1. Today, on May 9, 2023, Arbitrum users will be able to mint the ARB Early Supporter zkPass, which is a private verifiable proof of participation as an early supporter within the Arbitrum ecosystem (prior to token launch). Anyone who received tokens in the Arbitrum airdrop qualifies to mint an ARB Early Supporter zkPass.

2. On Thursday, May 11, 2023, Arbitrum users will be able to mint a zkSBT from one of Manta Network

   s ecosystem projects, ReadOn.

3. Furthermore, with this enablement of Arbitrum identity, future zkSBTs for the Arbitrum ecosystem can be released as well in conjunction with other Manta ecosystem activities and projects with Arbitrum.

All three zkSBT mints will be available indefinitely; i.e., users can mint their zkSBT at any time by verifying their credentials through an Arbitrum-supported wallet and minting/storing the zkSBT on the Manta Wallet. More details about each of the zkSBTs will be available shortly.

The Existing On-Chain Identity Problem
