Walnut Releases Deal Intel to Further Own the Sales Demo Process

Written by Jake Smiths

The world's first interactive demo platform Walnut announced the beta rollout of its latest product suite, Deal Intel, which is designed to be the next step of the company's mission. The feature aims to turn demo interactions into growth and accelerate deals.

This is another step in the leading startup's efforts to improve the B2B SaaS buying process for buyers and empower sales leaders to build their sales strategies around incorporating interactive demos throughout the funnel.

Since its founding in 2020, Walnut has led the movement towards demo automation, winning countless awards, raising $56M, and working with hundreds of customers, including Fortune 500 companies. It was also named #1 Top Startup by LinkedIn last year, as well as a ‘Top 100 startup' by WIRED magazine.

With the challenges in the market and countless sales teams who are struggling to meet their goals, Walnut's latest release provides leaders with better data to optimize the way they sell and hit their targets.

Deal Intel builds on the already comprehensive platform and enables sales teams to use demo engagement data throughout the funnel to identify their best opportunities, revive “dead” pipelines and deals, and accelerate deals through the pipeline.

"Sales leaders need access to interactive demo data to pinpoint any gaps, zero in on any leaks, and understand which areas of the funnel need improvement," Walnut's CEO Yoav Vilner noted. "The holistic approach of Deal Intel enables sales leaders to view demo data within the context of broader sales metrics and ensures a comprehensive understanding of how demos contribute to the overall success of their sales strategy."

Some key features also include identifying one’s buying committee behavior and identifying secret stakeholders within the organization.

Currently, Walnut only lets its existing customer base use the new beta product – but has also extended a beta application form for potential customers.
