Lao Government and SITC Partner with Real World Asset to Lead Digital Innovation

Vientiane - July 24: The Department of Digital Technology, the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Laos, along with SITC Laos, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Real World Asset (RWA) to introduce a digital document management system. This agreement is considered a significant step as Laos recognizes the need for digitalization and the long-term preservation of documents.

The Lao government has set short-term goals for economic development through Blockchain 4.0 digital transformation in 2024, promoting extensive technological support and utilization of blockchain technology.

Through this agreement, the Departmnet of Digital Technology, the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Laos will collaborate with SITC Laos to universalize the digital document management system using Real World Asset's blockchain technology. This agreement is expected to last for the next 15 years, playing a significant role in building a sustainable digital document management system. Starting with this MOA signing, Real World Asset plans to expand its blockchain technology-based business in Laos and the Southeast Asian market.

An official from the Department of Digital Technology of Laos stated, "This agreement is an important step for Laos to establish a more efficient and environmentally friendly document management system through digitalization. Collaboration with Real World Asset will greatly assist Laos in achieving digital innovation."

The representative of Real World Asset expressed, "We are very pleased to work with the Lao government and SITC to establish a digital document management system. We feel great satisfaction that our blockchain technology can enhance administrative efficiency and contribute to environmental protection in Laos."
