In October 2024, Meta Force underwent a corporate restructuring, including a rebranding of the company itself and its main products.

The restructuring was technically very fast - the formal changes took a couple of weeks, and Holiverse was already up and running. For users, the changes were unexpected and caused reasonable concern, however, this dissipated the moment the work process resumed in full, and the innovations proved their usefulness.

What exactly has happened?


Rebranding: background

The history of Meta Force began two years ago. In fact, it was a project generated and created by one person. Meet Lado Okhotnikov, the founder, director, and mastermind of the project.

Meta Force is a rare case of a greenfield startup, when the roadmap is not just implemented, but transformed into a much larger project.

The company initially developed as a DeFi blockchain platform for the implementation of complex business projects. The format turned out to be in demand, and in two years, more than two million users came to the platform.

The project's roadmap was ambitious and initially assumed the transformation of the platform into a full-fledged metaverse. That is, the startup was initially going to challenge IT giants like Meta and Microsoft, who had already announced their readiness to invest billions of dollars in their own metaverses. Mr. Okhotnikov did not have billions to spare, but he had a business idea and an understanding of the technology.

In September 2023, the gradual transformation of the digital platform into a full-fledged metaverse began. The process was going quite smoothly, and by September 2024, the metaverse was ready to accept its first users. Meta Force announced the start of beta testing of the metaverse, and almost simultaneously, rebranding began.

Is it a coincidence?


Business evolution, upscaling and diversification

On the one hand, rebranding is a completely normal business process. Twitter, McAfee, Amazon have gone through it with varying degrees of success. On the other hand, rebranding is still a fairly serious event that could arise from high necessity; it is usually carried out either when everything is very bad or when everything is very good.


In the first case, companies want to get rid of an unsuccessful brand and start from scratch. In the second, as a rule, companies outgrow their own name or the brand name of their product. This is exactly the situation that Meta Force has encountered.

In addition to scaling the project (growing from zero to two million requires significant changes in the technical and organizational infrastructure), the company invested in new areas of business that are not directly related to IT and blockchain. Over the past year, high-quality organic cosmetics and dietary supplements production has been launched, a media production studio has been organized, and a DNA research center has been opened.

The original DeFi blockchain platform has transformed into a metaverse with unique functionality. The Holiverse metaverse offers space for business, creativity, leisure, and simply for virtual life. A separate zone is dedicated to games: traditional for entertainment and organized according to the Play-to-earn principle.

The marketplace integrated into the metaverse is also organized based on unique approaches. There are three options for using digital goods. You buy a product in NFT format and can:

  1. use it for its intended purpose in the metaverse. Ride digital cars, decorate your virtual home with furniture, wear stylish accessories - the Holiverse metaverse imitates reality as much as possible;
  2. deposit it for staking. You simply do not unpack the purchase, store it and receive income;
  3. exchange it for a real prototype. You buy a digital accessory and at the same time get the right to exchange it for the same real accessory. To make it work the logistics covering the entire globe have been built.


Holistics + metaverse = Holiverse

Apart from scaling and diversifying the business, the company proposed a unique concept of the metaverse. The developers transferred the principles of holistics, that is, a holistic approach to man, society and the environment, to the digital space.


Here a very interesting connection has formed, a kind of digital fusion, suggesting the synergy of two seemingly incompatible approaches – human DNA and a blockchain-based metaverse.

The user's avatar becomes not just a visual image of a real person, it is transformed into a digital DNA clone. Holiverse has learned to digitize genetic information and transfer it to the avatar. The clone acquires your strengths and weaknesses, genetically determined habits and diseases. He, just like you, will react to taking medications, physical impact, social interaction.

All this allows you to use the clone as a model for, for example, testing an individual reaction to taking a drug. This approach provides the opportunity to quickly and safely select an individual course of treatment.


Rebranding: Meta Force died, long live Holiverse!

In two years, the business has grown so much that the initially built corporate structure no longer corresponds to the new high level. Restructuring was inevitable.

The process of restructuring and rebranding began almost simultaneously with the beta testing of the metaverse. Now all business from the platform is moving to the metaverse, which is becoming the center of Holiverse. New directions are also integrated into the Holiverse environment.

Since the old name is associated with the platform, it was decided to rebrand both the company itself and its digital products.

So, the company has transformed into Holiverse, the native token (a fork of the old Forcecoin) is now called Holichain. However, the name change is secondary, the internal infrastructure of the business itself has changed.

In the first days, the main concerns of the user were related to the succession of the new company. However, all the rights and obligations of the "old" structure were fully transferred to the "new" one. The business continued and accelerated, thanks to technical and organizational innovations.


For Holiverse, rebranding is largely a forced measure that can minimize risks and take the business to a new level. Users, despite concerns, turned out to be winners - now they interact with a fundamentally stronger and more upscale company.

Meta Force went down in history, leaving a notable trace. Its place was taken by Holiverse - the result of startup evolution that was launched two years ago.
