Though Patrick has been perfecting the trilogy for nearly three years, dedicated to providing readers with a compelling story that pulls on heartstrings and educates, this rewarding journey started over a decade ago. Sparked by his daughter's experiences at a Catholic school—bullied by two atheist girls who asked why she believed in fairytales and myths—Patrick created a list of reasons explaining her faith. The author continued exploring his beliefs, aggregating the list from a few bullet points to ten pages and, eventually, into a captivating, over-200-page-long story.

Entrenched across the trilogy is an emotional tale of a father and son who, inspired by the elder's recent cancer diagnosis, commence a road trip across the US, setting eyes on a small city in North Dakota - the father's hometown - as their destination. As the two men travel through the national parks of Montana, Wyoming, and other states, immersed in the beauty of nature, a transformative conversation on religion, the meaning of life, and purpose unfolds.

The father - a defiant atheist - raised his child to share the same beliefs. Now a devoted Christian, his son is dedicated to enriching his dying father's life, introducing him to God's true love and power. One of the pivotal conversations occurs as they reach Mount Rushmore; inspired by Abraham Lincoln's massive granite sculpture, they discuss the significance of Abraham who has a crucial role in the narrative of God's relationship to humanity. His kindness, compassion, trust, and obedience to God, even to the point of willingness to sacrifice his

beloved son for God. Although he is prevented from doing so, when Paul hears this story, he is secretly outraged that God would make this request and his anger prevents him from fully grasping God's true intentions.

Central to the trilogy's mission is reinforcing the presence of Jesus, who Patrick describes as ‘the one and only way to reach God.' As he answers crucial questions - ‘Who is Jesus?' "What is his meaning in the Bible?" or "Why is he the light and truth?" - the author fulfills his mission of connecting the dots from the Old to the New Testament, revealing essential verities people are often unaware of. In the final chapter of the book, the authenticity debate surrounding the Shroud of Turin is disclosed and evidence, once lost, is now revealed, defying everything we once knew.
