The Ethereum Foundation (EF), the non-profit organization that supports the development of the Ethereum blockchain, has made two new additions to its executive roster.
In a March 1st post, the organization announced Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak as co-Executive Directors, forming a new leadership structure. Their new engagements will take effect on 17 March.
Under the leadership of the new co-Executive Directors, the EF says it will ensure that Ethereum and its ecosystem grow and that that growth advances its core and foundational values. These include open source, security, privacy, and permissionless global collaboration.
The team added that the Ethereum ecosystem must navigate a "challenging transition" over the next few years. It is transforming from "an early-stage project serving a small number of enthusiasts [into] a robust permissionless censorship-resistant base layer of the global finance and software stack."
