Frank Spiteri, Head of Asset Management at CoinShares, has departed the company, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Spiteri, a seasoned executive in the digital asset investment space, played a key role in expanding CoinShares' institutional product offerings and helping position the firm as one of Europe's leading digital asset managers.
His departure marks a notable leadership change at a time when the digital asset industry is evolving rapidly and institutional interest continues to grow. Spiteri had been with CoinShares since 2020, previously serving as Chief Revenue Officer before taking on his most recent role.
CoinShares declined to confirm the departure. Spiteri was also unavailable for comment.
While the reasons behind his exit remain unclear, the move comes as CoinShares continues to navigate a volatile but maturing market for crypto investment products.
