Direxion: Maximize Alpha With These Leveraged and Thematic ETFs

Benzinga recently hosted its first virtual event focused on investing in Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), dubbed “ETF: Unlocked”. Sponsored by Traders Accounting, the event brought together important thought leaders in the space to share their expertise and discuss current and future trends for 2023.

One of the featured participants was Ed Egilinski, Managing Director of Direxion ETFs, a leading provider of leveraged & inverse and thematic ETFs that allow traders to maximize their short and long term views of the market.

Speaking smart strategies that take advantage of the diverse offerings of his company, Mr. Egilinski stated, “if you have a 3 to 5-year time horizon and can at least invest in different types of market cycles the thematics make sense at least in terms of adding either an additional source of alpha or in some cases providing added sources of diversification like commodities in 2022 that were one of the few asset classes that were up.”
