Bill Dague joined Nasdaq Inc NDAQ in 2014 as a software engineer intern, working on big data and cloud projects, and then took an interest in data science where he helped initiate the Nasdaq Machine Intelligence Lab.
He went on to serve as head of Alt Data until December 2018. After Nasdaq acquired Quandl, he also joined the Quandl team working on new data research. He is now head of Alt Data Research for Nasdaq and Quandl.

Dague built Nasdaq's first machine learning product, Trading Insights, and then launched its alternative data platform, Nasdaq Analytics Hub.
Dague was selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 2020 list for Finance, recognizing his work with alternative data and machine learning. His efforts were recognized for heading Nasdaq’s push into machine learning-driven analysis and the firm’s 2018 acquisition of Quandl.

Dague holds a bachelor of arts in Physics from the University of Chicago and a management certification from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
