Nada, the innovative investment tech platform connecting homeowners with investors, appoints Tore Steen as its new CEO and President.

Nada is an alternative asset investment and finance platform, making the $30 trillion home equity market accessible to individual investors and homeowners.

Steen, a member of Nada’s Board, will lead the company’s mission to transform real estate wealth. Steen has more than ten years of experience in real estate tech investment.

As a co-founder of CrowdStreet, he guided the platform to surpass $4 billion in equity investments by 2021, earning him a spot among the top 50 Financial Technology CEOs.

“With the success of our Cityfunds and Homeshares products, we are now in the best position to achieve this mission and grow. Tore’s character, proven track record, and unique expertise make him the perfect leader to guide us through this next phase. I am thrilled to announce Tore as Nada’s next CEO and to partner with him on the future of Nada,” stated John Green, Nada’s Co-founder and current CEO who will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

“Tore Steen complements this early success, given his background as a strong operator who has previously built at-scale businesses in an incredibly relevant domain,” remarked Krishna Srinivasan, board member and founding partner of LiveOak Ventures.

Additionally, Nada has obtained seed extension funding from LiveOak Ventures and 7BC Venture Capital. The financial details of the funding were not disclosed.
