Tomorrow

Tomorrow is a digital bank focused on sustainable finance. Customer deposits fund various environmental projects, such as ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and affordable housing. Tomorrow collaborates with Solarisbank for its banking operations, ensuring all deposits are managed sustainably.

Every payment made with a card contributes to climate protection efforts, including restoring ecosystems in South Africa. In 2023, the bank restored 3.3 million square meters of ecosystem and donated over €1.3 million to social and climate protection projects.

Trine

Trine is a crowdfunding platform for investing in solar energy projects in emerging markets. The company aims to provide clean energy access while offering financial returns to investors, bridging the gap between sustainable development and investment opportunities.

Trine’s projects have helped provide electricity to more than 3.1 million people and have offset over 1.2 million tons of CO2. The platform allows individuals to invest as little as €25 in solar projects, with a targeted annual return of around 6%. As of now, the total amount invested through Trine is €95,416,754,

TreeCard

TreeCard is a payment card that funds reforestation projects and tree planting with every purchase. Founded by four Londoners, It is the world’s first wooden debit card and is backed by Ecosia, a search engine that plants trees. TreeCard redirects 80% of its profits to forest restoration projects globally.

As of January 2023, they have planted over 300,000 trees with the help of their partners. The card is made from sustainably sourced FSC-certified cherry wood, with each tree producing over 300,000 cards. Every $60 spent translates to one tree planted, and users can track their impact through an app.

Carbon Collective

Carbon Collective is an investment platform focused on climate-friendly portfolios. It helps individuals invest in companies working to combat climate change by focusing on sectors dedicated to reducing carbon emissions.

The company offers diversified portfolios built around divesting from fossil fuels and reinvesting in climate solutions. The platform aims to fill the $5 trillion annual climate investment gap identified by the Climate Policy Initiative, making sustainable investing accessible with low fees and no minimum investment requirements.

Tickr

Tickr allows users to invest in companies aligned with their ethical values, focusing on sustainability and social impact. The platform makes it easy for users to support causes they care about while earning returns.

It has three main investment themes: Planet, People, and People & Planet, each populated by ETFs reflecting these sub-themes. The company has raised funding and was named a Tech Nation Rising Star for its approach to impact investing.
