Hot Topic August same-store sales fall 3.7%

Hot Topic Inc. HOTT said late Wednesday that August same-store sales fell 3.7%. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters estimated a decline of 6.2%. Total August sales fell 2% to $65.3 million from the year-ago period.
