Benzinga held its Small-Cap Conference on Oct. 27, bringing investors and traders together with company executives. The conference was held virtually this year and featured speakers from exciting and innovative companies with smaller market capitalizations. The conference is always a chance to share knowledge, build community and connect.

The companies represented came from diverse industries, including biopharma, food, and beverage, cannabis, and technology. Every investor wishes they had the opportunity to buy shares in Amazon.com Inc. AMZN or Microsoft Corp. MSFT early on, and while there are no guarantees, Benzinga hopes that its presenters experience profound growth.

One of the presenters was Recruiter.com Group Inc. (NASDAQ: RCRT). Its CEO Evan Sohn spoke at 12:35 p.m. EST, Wednesday, Oct. 27.

"I am honored to be able to represent Recruiter.com at Benzinga's Small Cap Conference this October and am looking forward to tuning in to some of the other great speakers that will be presenting," Sohn said before the conference. "Recruiter.com is determined to help deliver talent faster and better during this unprecedented job market and talent shortage. We are on a mission to connect people to people by providing companies of all sizes access to software subscription services and on-demand help from professional recruiters."

The recruiting platform company is looking to disrupt the $120 billion recruiting industry by focusing on innovative technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) tools in combination with live, talented recruiters. The site currently boasts 150 million profiles, and the company has a network of 30,000 recruiters.

Hiring is a major expense for most companies, and Recruiter.com boasts of cutting recruiting costs by more than 33%. That is no small point. But the company isn’t just committed to efficiency. It places a focus on, as Sohn said, “connecting people to people,” meaning recruiters build personal relationships and place people where they will thrive.

The virtual event took place from Oct. 27-28.
