Paper trading is a chance for you to practice buying and selling in a simulated trading experience, without risking your own money. It's a useful tool for novices and seasoned traders alike to learn new skills, test out different strategies, and get a feel for a real trading environment. 

Improving  Financial Literacy 

Moomoo and Benzinga invite users 18 years old and older to enhance their financial literacy by participating in the competition. It's no secret that young Americans are rarely, or perhaps are never, taught about trading, the stock market, or how to invest. Moomoo and Benzinga believe that financial literacy is a crucial skill everyone should have a chance to develop. We have created this competition so that both novice and experienced investors may have a chance to practice  investing, saving, and planning for the future.

The moomoo x Benzinga Paper Trading Competition

The competition schedule runs from April 1, 2023, at 12:00 am Eastern time to April 30, 2023, at 11:59 pm Eastern time, and interested individuals may register at any time during the competition period.

How Do I Join moomoo's Paper Trading Competition?

To participate, interested individuals can download the moomoo app or access the download page on the AppStore, Google Play Store, or on the web.  Once registered, participants will need to go to"Discover" > "Papertrade" and tap "Financial Literacy Paper Trade." For participants registering from a desktop, they can go to "Papertrade" and tap "Financial Literacy Paper Trade."  Participants will receive an initial virtual asset amount of US$100,000 to start paper trading. They will then be ranked according to their total P/L%.  

The trading product is limited to US stocks, with trading hours from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm ET. The competition supports dividends and bonus issues but not new IPO subscriptions, rights shares, or additional issuance. To help ensure the professionalism of the competition, the competition restricts trading stocks below US$5.

Prizes for Participants

By joining the competition, participants have an opportunity to earn one of the following prizes:

• 1st Prize: $1,500 cash coupon 

• 2nd Prize: $1,000 cash coupon 

• 3rd Prize: $500 cash coupon 

• 4th to 20th Prize: $100 cash coupon
