CNN and Don Lemon parted ways earlier this week after more than 10 years, but it looks like the former host won’t have to stay unemployed for long. Rick Ross, the rapper and Wingstop Inc WING franchiser, poked fun at Lemon on Instagram, and offered him a job at one of Ross’s Wingstop locations.
“For some reason I believe you know what you’re doing with the lemon peper [sic] wings,” Ross said. “So man, just send over your resume. I’m [gonna] make sure to get you in front of the right grill.”

Lemon had been at CNN for almost two decades before his abrupt departure on Monday. He took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the decision and the manner in which it was handled.
“After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly,” Lemon said in his post.
Earlier this year, he came under fire after saying that women are considered to be in their prime when they are in their 20s and 30s while discussing 51-year-old Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley. But, that was in February and Lemon took time off the air, then came back a few weeks later only to be fired earlier this week.
Lemon was not the only major departure in the cable-news world. Fox News and Tucker Carlson also parted ways on Monday, ending the network's 14-year relationship with the top-rated host.
